ourtrespasses: A really fun one. Drove down from NY to get it!! (Taken with Instagram at Classic Tattoo) Really beautiful traditional piece right here. This artist knows how to shade with flats (a type of needle mostly outmoded today but experiencing a resurgence with traditional purists). If you’ve been following me for a while you’ve seen me criticize poor use of flats and how it’s easy to get a bad texture with them as opposed to the good texture achieved in this piece. I also like the detail in the cuff as a way to taper off the tattoo.
